It's been an exciting - and incredibly busy! - first few months as Astute's US Operations Manager as we grow the business and expand into the American market as Astute People Inc.
My almost 30-year-long journey in recruitment has been incredibly rewarding, marked by achievements such as leading successful recruitment teams, providing training, coaching, and mentorship to recruiters and managers, and spearheading research and implementation of cutting-edge systems, processes, and technologies to enhance recruitment practices.
In recent months, I've been hard at work crafting a state-of-the-art recruitment business operating model specifically tailored for the Power and Energy Generation industry in the US and Canada.
This project has been a ground-up endeavour, free from the constraints of legacy systems, allowing us the unique opportunity to carefully evaluate and select the best technologies, services, and products.
We've meticulously tested these solutions to create a leading-edge technology platform that seamlessly empowers the business.
Additionally, I've undertaken an extensive market mapping campaign, enabling us to promptly engage with key decision-makers at prominent organisations, both large players and SMEs, across the US and Canada.
